Can Your Attitude Really
Bring Success?
To accomplish success you need to have a
positive attitude. You can achieve this by using two
techniques namely positive self-talk and positive
visualisation. These are the characteristics of
successful people.
Being positive and assuring yourself that
you can do something will change your attitude. Remind
yourself that you can do it instead of allowing your
self-talk to try and tell you
otherwise.
If we allow ourselves to think about
negative things, our mind will try to persuade us out of
doing something. Acknowledge those negative thoughts, but
move forward by thinking positive and reminding yourself,
"Yes, I can and want to do this."
How you are thinking dictates as to what
attitude you have. If you think negatively, you will be
unhappy, grumpy, perhaps short tempered and your attitude
will remain the same. When you are happy, thinking
positively and feeling good about yourself, your attitude
will reflect this. More importantly, those around you
will feel the difference. Being positive and happy is
like a disease, it's infectious.
If you want to see the effects of how being
happy and positive can be on other people, then take the
time to watch the movie Patch Adams, starring Robin
Williams. This is a very moving drama based on the real
life of Hunter "Patch" Adams and his trials on the road
to becoming a doctor and attempting to revolutionize the
way Doctor's treated their patients.
You can change and begin to feel like a new
person with an attitude adjustment. If you are thinking
negatively then that's how you're going to feel.
Developing a positive attitude will make you think and
feel happy, giving you better health along the
way.
Remember, you
choose what attitude you are going to have for each and every
day of your life. As the famous words muttered in an Indiana
Jones movie once said, Choose
Wisely!
