About me

Damien currently lives on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland Australia with his wife, two adorable girls and two playful dogs. His aim is to make a difference in the lives of others through his books, presentations and websites.   

Damien is currently the Managing Director of Red Rock Adventure Products, a company established to support educators through the distribution of adventure educational books, props, games and activities used to assist with the facilitation and processing of experiential adventure learning activities. Recently evolved with customer demand for camping equipment.

Additionally, Damien operates a separate business called Newarke and delivers Personal Development and Change Management workshops to various companies and businesses.   His numerous ebooks and articles are proving very successful with participants and visitors to his website.

There is no substitute for a superb presentation as Damien brings warmth and energy to his presentations.   His natural approach and touching ‘real life’ experiences makes the participants feel at home and captivated by his message for living and enjoying life! 

Past Career Highlights 

National Operations Manager, Project Adventure Australia 

Facilitated corporate training programs; responsible for sales initiatives and tracking results; implemented operating procedures and policies; implemented improved cash flow strategies and Facilitated the inaugural meeting for the introduction of a National Body called the Association for Challenge Course Technology,    Australia (ACCTA). 

Assistant State Manager, Community & Media Relations, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, NSW & ACT

Provided marketing and promotional support to branches; orientated branch special events and promotional launches; assessed sponsorship applications and made recommendations; co-ordinated the Bank’s sponsorship portfolio in NSW and ACT; various public speaking engagements and given the responsibility of managing (on-the-road) the Bank’s largest monetary sponsorship portfolio, the Commonwealth Bank Cycle Classic.
